Enrollment & eligibility policy
Human Program offers education programs for students in Grades 2–12, with grade eligibility and enrollment status varying by program.
Guided School includes enrollment with Human Program as the student’s school. Home School and Independent Learner provide curriculum and educational support but do not enroll the student with Human Program as their school.
1. Eligibility criteria
Program eligibility varies by grade level:
- Independent Learner: Grades 6–12
- Home School: Grades 2–12
- Guided School: Grades 6–12
For students applying to Guided School:
- Grade level: Students must be entering Grades 6 through 12.
- Age: Students must meet the age requirements for their intended grade level, where applicable under their state or local education requirements.
- Documentation: Families must complete the application process and provide any required enrollment documentation.
There are no academic, financial, or behavioral prerequisites for admission. Human Program does not require entrance exams, interviews, or academic performance screenings as part of the admissions process.
Human Program welcomes:
- Students with disabilities
- English Language Learners (ELL)
- Neurodivergent learners
- Gifted and advanced students
- Students who are behind grade level or seeking flexible learning options
- Students who travel, are homebound, or pursue nontraditional education paths
2. Enrollment details
Formal school enrollment applies to Guided School.
Guided School follows an open enrollment model, subject to program availability and any requirements that apply to the student’s location or enrollment model.
Upon submission of an application:
- Families will receive information about their eligibility and enrollment status.
- Eligible students will be admitted based on program availability.
- Once enrollment is complete, families will receive confirmation of their enrollment.
Guided School operates under a private school model.
Students using Independent Learner or Home School are not enrolled with Human Program as their school. These programs support independent learning, family-led homeschooling, or learning alongside a student’s current school, depending on the program and the family’s circumstances.
