Human Program offers different learning options for students in Grades 2–12, as well as options for adult learners.

Independent Learner is for Grades 6–12 and adults who want a flexible, self-directed learning experience. It can work well for students supplementing their current schoolwork, working students, hobbyist learners, or anyone who wants to learn independently at their own pace.

Home School is for Grades 2–12 and is designed as a complete, family-led homeschool curriculum. It can suit homeschooling families who want more structure, including families who travel, relocate frequently, or need greater flexibility in when and where learning happens.

Guided School is a complete school program for Grades 6–12 students who enroll with Human Program as their school. It is designed for students who need or prefer a more flexible school experience with ongoing guidance, accountability, tutoring, and support.

Guided School includes a dedicated guide who tracks progress, checks in regularly, and helps students stay supported and accountable. This plan also includes access to 1:1 tutoring when students need extra help.

Yes. Independent Learner is designed to complement a student's existing school program. Home School can also be used alongside another school because it does not enroll the student with Human Program, though it is intended to function as a complete, family-led homeschool curriculum. Guided School is the only plan that requires the student to transfer and enroll with Human Program as their school.

Independent Learner offers a self-directed experience with adaptive curriculum, mastery tracking, review, rewards, and a transcript.

Home School adds family-focused tools for attendance, progress tracking, graduation planning, and parent reporting.

Guided School is a complete school program, not a supplemental option. Human Program becomes the student's school and provides the full academic program, guidance, accountability, testing, tutoring, social programming, and diploma pathway.

No. It’s structured, purposeful, and capped. Most students spend less than 4 hours a day on learning, then move, connect, or build real life-skills.

The next step depends on the student’s plan and their goals.

Guided School students who meet Human Program’s graduation requirements earn a Human Program diploma and transcript. They can use these records as they move on to college, career or technical training, employment, or other post-secondary opportunities.

Home School students can use their Human Program coursework, progress records, and transcripts as part of their homeschool academic record. The parent or homeschool administrator determines when the student has completed their homeschool program and handles graduation documentation according to the requirements that apply in their state.

Independent Learner students receive a transcript documenting the work they completed with Human Program, but Human Program does not issue a diploma for this plan. Students who want a high-school-equivalency credential may choose to pursue a GED or another applicable equivalency pathway after completing their studies.

Guided School students must complete Human Program's required core curriculum and a final review before graduating. The final review checks for remaining learning gaps; any gaps identified are returned to the student's learning plan so they can be addressed before completion.

Students enrolled in Guided School can earn a Human Program diploma after meeting our graduation requirements. For students in Independent Learner or Home School, Human Program provides coursework, progress records, and transcripts, but does not determine when the student has graduated or issue a final diploma.

A diploma is a formal statement from a school or homeschool administrator that the student has completed that program’s graduation requirements. A transcript is the more detailed academic record: it shows the courses or subjects completed, credits earned, grades or mastery, and other academic history. These documents can be used to show a student’s educational background and may be requested when applying to colleges, training programs, jobs, or other opportunities.

For students enrolled in a traditional or private school, the school decides whether its graduation requirements have been met and issues the diploma. For homeschooled students, that responsibility typically remains with the parent or other person responsible for administering the homeschool, subject to any requirements that apply in their state.

This means families using Human Program for homeschooling can use their Human Program records and transcripts as part of the student’s academic record, while the parent remains responsible for determining when the student has completed their homeschool program and for issuing or documenting graduation. Families who want Human Program to take responsibility for evaluating graduation requirements and issuing the diploma should enroll in Guided School.

For students enrolled in Guided School, Human Program serves as the student’s private school. We maintain enrollment, attendance, and academic records and can provide documentation of enrollment or attendance when requested by a prior school, school district, state agency, or other appropriate authority.

Students in Independent Learner and Home School are not enrolled in Human Program’s private school. The parent, student, or student’s existing school remains responsible for complying with any applicable compulsory attendance, homeschool notification, enrollment, or reporting requirements.

Human Program transcripts and academic records can be used as supporting documentation when these records are needed for reporting purposes.

It depends on the plan. Independent Learner is fully self-directed, while Home School provides tools to track progress independently. Guided School provides the most structure, with ongoing guidance, accountability, and academic support.

Human Program supports most Garmin smartwatches and fitness watches. Garmin devices designed specifically for children (including the vívofit jr. series, Bounce and Bounce 2, and Approach J1) are not currently supported.

Socialization is built into Guided School through Squads. Students can connect with peers in monitored group spaces, take part in friendly competition through leaderboards and achievements, earn extra points, ask questions, and get help when they need it. Squads also give students regular access to their Squad Leader for check-ins and 1:1 guidance, helping them feel connected to both their peers and the wider school community.

Absolutely. We’ve built Human Program for all students, including ELL students, students with disabilities, neurodivergent learners, ALP students, and homebound students.

Our program is also available in 30 languages.

Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) are state programs that allow families to use public funds for approved educational expenses - including curriculum, online tuition, and tutoring.If your state supports this model and your student is eligible, ESA funds can cover your full enrollment.

Each state sets its own rules. ESA programs go by different names, like Empowerment Scholarship Account, Education Freedom Account, or similar. Eligibility can vary by income, ZIP code, learning needs, or prior school enrollment.
