Arkansas EFA questions
Is Human Program an approved EFA provider?
β
Yes. Human Program is an approved Arkansas EFA provider, and tuition is paid through ClassWallet. We send you the invoice, you submit it in ClassWallet, and your EFA pays the school directly.
How does the EFA actually pay the school?
+
Your EFA funds live in a ClassWallet account the state sets up for your student. We send you a tuition invoice, you submit it in ClassWallet, and ClassWallet pays the school from those funds. You never front the money, and you never enter a card.
Is this part of the LEARNS Act?
+
Yes. The Education Freedom Account program was created by the LEARNS Act, Arkansas's education law. An EFA and a LEARNS Act scholarship are the same program.
My funds haven't arrived in ClassWallet yet. Can we start now?
+
Yes. Finish your application and we'll hold your student's seat. You pay only after your funds arrive in ClassWallet, and we'll walk you through submitting the invoice when they do.
Will I ever pay anything out of pocket?
+
The EFA covers tuition in full, and there's no application fee or down payment. Nothing is charged to you while you wait for your funds.
We homeschool. Can the EFA pay for this?
+
Yes. Registered homeschool students are eligible for the EFA, and homeschooling families use it for our Home School program. Your student keeps learning at home, with our curriculum and your lead.
We missed this year's application window. What now?
+
Applications open again in the spring. Finish your application now and we'll hold your student's seat, email you a walkthrough of the EFA, and tell you the moment the window opens.
Are classes live at set times?
+
No. Your student learns at their own pace, on your family's schedule. There are no fixed class times and no bell schedule.
Can my student catch up, or graduate on time?
+
Yes. Your student starts at their actual level and advances as fast as they master the material, so catching up is built into how the school works. Guided School students earn a diploma and transcript.
